Biography I am a transplanted Californian living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia and have explored a good part of both countries. I've also lived in Hawaii, Alaska and have spent several months in Ireland. I have over twenty years experience in the travel industry, almost fifteen of those with one of the companies that is now part of Expedia.com. For the first few years of my career, I focused on sales, but gradually I became involved in creating destination manuals to help with training new agents and to aid seasoned reservationists to better service our customers. To amuse my creative side, I paint, write plays and poetry, and travel. I’ve also done a bit of clowning in my recent past.
My constant companion is a ten year old retired actor cat named Mouschie. His last performance was in “The Diary of Anne Franke” after which his owner could no longer keep him. We adopted him, changed his name to Mouschie, after his last acting role and now he hams it up around the house rather than on stage. He is semi-leashed trained, but needs a refresher course so that he may join me on some of my jaunts. I am sure he will appreciate Fisher’s veterinary information if it is ever needed, but I don’t think he will let on...at all, at all.
